Antonio Maria Bordoni (1789 - 1860)
Mathematician, professor in Pavia first at the Scuola Militare then at the university of whose mathematical school he was an eminent exponent. He taught geodesy, sublime calculus and hydrometry and wrote a number of important treatises.
The collection was acquired from the Regio Istituto Tecnico Superiore in 1898 and incorporated into the Brioschi collection (see below). It consists of 3 bundles and is divided up into two series: 1. Writings (career and teaching, participation in scientific academies, studies and research); 2. Correspondence (letters to Gabrio Piola and others).
Held at the Archivi Storici since July 2011.
