Affluences
The Affluences app allows you to:
- know the percentageof free places in the 3 Milano libraries BCL, BBL, BBC and in the library of Piacenza campus in real time and with a forecast for the different time slots of the day
- book the rooms available for group study n the Milano libraries
Due to the covid-19 the number of seats available has been reduced, in order to guarantee the social distancing.
How to install the mobile app Affluences:
- iOS devices: go directly to the app or connect to the App Store and search for "Affluences"
- Android devices: go directly to the app or connect to the Play Store and search for Affluences"
Polimi Library
The Polimi Library application allows you to:
- search the Politecnico di Milano libraries online catalogue and check if a book is available
- set one or more favourite libraries with priority to material here available
- make borrowing requests for available books and reserve books on loan
- cancel requests and reservations that do not interest you anymore
- renew loans (from three days before the book is due back)
- view your reader status
- send suggestions on future purchases to a library
Some advanced functionalities are available, for example:
- search filters and refining functions through facets: tags, authors, publication year, category, etc.
- personal bibliography synchronized
- map of all the University libraries with information
- sharing favourite titles with social networks
