Consultatation
Internal registered users are are enabled to view materials.
External users and Politecnico di Milano Alumni may not use the services related to maps and land registry maps due to the limitations imposed by the owners of the materials.
Reference - advice for users
For researching materials you can request assistance to staff that will guide you in choosing the most suitable materials.
Collection
The cartographic materials include:
- technical maps in different scales and historic eras are available, filed according to institution (e.g. Municipality of Milan, Regione Lombardia, Istituto Geografico Militare).
The historic maps of the Lombardy State Archives are also available: maps of the Catasto Teresiano, Lombardo Veneto, Charles VI, Cessato Catasto.
- Plan and Programs: Master plans, Variations, Implementing Multiannual Programmes, Operating Index Maps, Recovery Plans, Detailed Plans, Programmes of Urban Reorganization, etc. of different territorial authorities and dates of approval/adoption.
