Milan Upside Down: Metropolitan Landscapes

The exhibition presents a Milan Upside Down seen and interpreted through the documents preserved in the Historical Archives of the Politecnico di Milano, that testify the development of the city above and below street level. The exhibition unfolds as an itinerary that tells the story of a multifaceted city and displays successes and contradictions of an ever-evolving Milan, that exists not on a single flat landscape, but on multiple levels, all inextricably intertwined with one another. 

The exhibition Milano Sottosopra. Panorami metropolitani / Milan Upside Down: Metropolitan Landscapes will be open from October 25th, 2024, to March 28th, 2025, at the Historical Archives of Politecnico di Milano, Bovisa Candiani Campus, as follows: 

 

Opening hours of the Exhibition Hall: 9.30 am-8 pm 

Opening hours of the original documents display: 10 am-1 pm.
