How to access the campus libraries and use their services

To access the Milan and the Piacenza campus' libraries the reservation of the seat is required through the Affluences app.

The reserved seats are exclusively available to the user for the whole day and for as long as the user stays in the library.
A definite number of seats are made available, staggered by time slots, to avoid gatherings at the entrance.

The number of seats available is arranged to allow social distancing:

  • BCL - Leonardo Campus Library: 182 seats available - open 7 days / 7 from 8 am to 9 pm
  • BBC - Bovisa Candiani Library: 60 seats available - open Monday - Friday, from 8.30 am to 8.45 pm
  • BBL - Bovisa La Masa Library: 130 seats available - open 7 days / 7 from 8 am to 9 pm

The rooms for study groups with windows for natural ventilation are available upon reservation through the Affluences app, with a limitation to 50% of their capacity.

Please note that seats are limited and the reservation is exclusive: we trust in your responsible use of the service.

While accessing and staying in the library you have to wear a face mask.

There are sanitizing gel dispensing columns to be used whenever you look for books on the shelves.

The books taken for consultation have to be left on the trolleys provided.

If you need to borrow a book you have to request it online through the borrowing request link on the catalogue, and collect it at the library circulation desk the day after.

You can make photocopies of journals' articles and of parts of books at the Print Center in Leonardo and Candiani Campus.
Scans can only be done with personal devices, respecting the 15% limit  in accordance with the current legislation on copyright.

The assistance and support services for bibliographic research and for the thesis submission can be reserved through online services.

External users who already have a valid pass are admitted. At the moment new external subscriptions are suspended.
