Please note that
- you can borrow the books available on open shelf except those with the label printed in red
- there is a machine for automatically signing out books, working with the user's personal badge
- the books required via the online catalogue will be kept aside the following day, or the first available day when the library is closed, at the times established for the loan service
- degree theses and the books catalogued in the storage room are only available for reference, by reservation through the online catalogue.
- from workstations in the library you can access Politecnico websites, catalogues and subscribed eletronic resources (electronic journals, databases, e-books ...)
- there are 2 self-service photocopiers, one of which in colour, which can be used with a prepaid card.

Description of the library's archives
The library, opened to the public in September 1997, possesses the texts indicated in the bibliographies of the official teaching programs. You can also find works dedicated to issues relating to the architecture project and design, which document the progress of Italian and foreign design culture.
In the Periodicals Room, there are approximately 100 magazines.
There are around 50,000 theses conserved in the library's archives relating to both the Schools of Architecture and Engineering.
You can find all books and journals available in the library searching the online catalogue or using the discovery tool SEARCH.
