Reference and loans 
Monday - Friday  9.00 am to 1.00 pm - 2.30 pm to 7.30 pm
Saturday  9.00 am to 12.00 pm - 2.00 pm to 7.30 pm
Sunday    2.00 pm to 7.30 pm

Please note that

  • the onsite use is allowed to Politecnico users and to external users (teachers, researchers and students from other universities or people from other organisations) who present a valid identity document.
    In the 3 reading rooms on the first floor you may view the materials that cannot be borrowed (journals, theses, encyclopedias, dictionariesI.
    More than one request may be made on the same day, but readers may not request more than 5 volumes at a time.
  • each user may request up to 5 books on loan at the same time, for up to 4 weeks.

From workstations in the library you can access Politecnico websites, catalogues and subscribed eletronic resources (electronic journals, databases, e-books ...)

Description of the library's archives

The library has been open to the public since 1998, in order to provide bibliographic assistance to researchers and students registered in the study programmes available in the Piacenza Campus.
The collection includes about 6000 volumes mainly concerning the official teachings of the courses offered at the main campus in Piacenza.
The library currently subscribes to 4 journals.
