External users (fees apply) and Politecnico di Milano Alumni may not use the services related to maps and land registry maps due to the limitations imposed by the owners of the materials.

Description of the library's archives

The document archives of TeDOC are structured into collections of uniform materials, divided into various sectors:

Map materials: different technical map scales and historic eras are available, filed according to institution (e.g. Municipality of Milan, Regione Lombardia, Istituto Geografico Militare etc.). The historic maps of the Lombardy State Archives are also available: maps of the Catasto Teresiano, Lombardo Veneto, Charles VI, Cessato Catasto.

Plan and Programs: Master plans, Variations, Implementing Multiannual Programmes, Operating Index Maps, Recovery Plans, Detailed Plans, Programmes of Urban Reorganization, etc. of different territorial authorities and dates of approval/adoption.

Statistical materials: there is a collection of periodicals published by several statistics agencies (especially ISTAT), constantly updated from the early 1900's. The materials include: population, industry and agriculture censuses (since 1951) and United Nations publications.
