Please note that

  • books and journals are kept on closed shelves accessible only to library staff. To take a book out on loan, the reader must identify the inventory number and location of the volume and provide it to library staff,
  • registered lecturers, researchers, PhD students, scholarship holders and degree students may borrow books and magazines.
    Returns must be made at the library (ground floor).
  • each user may request up to 5 books on loan at the same time, for 4 weeks
  • periodicals, dissertations, dictionaries and handbooks are excluded from loan
  • theses may only be read onsite, in the Loans Room
  • onsite reading is also allowed to users from other universities or external organisations, who must present a formal request on letterhead paper from their institution and a valid identity document.

From workstations in the tutoring room you can access Politecnico websites, catalogues and subscribed eletronic resources (electronic journals, databases, e-books ...)

Description of the library's archives

The library aims to provide bibliographic support to researchers and students registered in the degree programmes offered in the Cremona Campus: Engineering Management and Information Technology.
The Library has multiple copies of all textbooks used and recommended for degree programmes in the faculty, as well as dictionaries, encyclopedias and specialised manuals for in-depth study.

The collection includes:

  • more than 4000 monographs
  • more than 480 graduate theses
