Please note that

  • the Loan desk is available at the Registrar's Office (second floor)
  • each user may request up to 5 books on loan at the same time, for 4 weeks
  • on the basis of an agreement drawed up with Como Insubria science library, the users of Politecnico and Insubria University can take in borrow the materials of each library (5+5)

From workstations in the library you can access Politecnico websites, catalogues and subscribed eletronic resources (electronic journals, databases, e-books ...)

Description of the library's archives

The library aims to provide bibliographic support to researchers and students registered in the degree programmes offered at the Como Campus. 

The collection includes:

  • about 1000 monographs mainly concerning the official teachings of the courses offered at the Como campus: Italian and international scientific works on Engineering, Information Science, Mathematics, Physics.
  • You can find all books available in the library searching the online catalogue or using the discovery tool SEARCH
